Taking back the night with light!

This railroad underpass in Birmingham, Alabama, is usually a spooky and dangerous place at night.

But with the use of thousands of programmed LED’s, American artist Bill Fitzgibbons has transformed this previously avoided thoroughfare into an awesome tunnel of rainbows that now entices pedestrians to stroll through it.

It’s great to see urban spaces being made safer at night with pretty lights.

Can’t wait to see how our artists will transform Western Park this November!
