Jade Du Preez takes the quiz!

Jade Du Preez let us ask her some questions! Her work for Art in the Dark is a multi-faceted music and animation piece and - read about it here, and read about Jade's secret Japanese skills below.

1. How are you involved with Art in the Dark this year?

I'm working with some very talented musicians, creating animation in response to their pieces to tie in with their performances. We want to send out light waves as well as sound waves this November!

2. What do you do with the rest of your time?

Graphics of a more corporate nature during the day, a spot of freelancing after hours - shortly aiming to put some work into converting a NZ Author's work into a graphic novel... should be fun!

3. Any hidden talents?

A vague recollection of beginner's level Japanese.

4. Describe your favourite light experience

Just recently, it was really cool to see the Sky Tower lit up like a rainbow in support of marriage equality.

5. If Dr Seuss finished the sentence below it would read:

'Art in the Dark is at Western Park...
bring eyes and you'll see, bring ears and you'll hark.'
